Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
One watched as Ayn left the cafe, but now he was having another drink. "I must also be leaving soon. But I haven't been here in so long, might stay another hour or so."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn lies down, staring blankly at the ceiling. She hadn't eaten in a while, she probably needed to eat something, but she felt too weak to get up again at the moment. Her eyes close and she drifts off to sleep.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
A mask figure tilts his head over the edge of the roof of Ayn's home. He drops to the ground and talks into a radio quielty. "Some women went in. I'm sending images via direct visual link. Over." There's some silence and then a bit of static before a response. "No on matched in the database. Damnit, almost all the records on Blythandor is gone. It's insanity. It also makes this more difficult" The man frowns. "I'll ID them eventually. Any orders otherwise?" "Nope. That Abbis bastard keeps hanging up when I ask about pay." "I wouldn't worry, we know he has money." A sigh can be heard through the radio. "Whatever, just make sure they don't find you." The radio clicks off, and the man goes back into hiding. "Damnit this would be easier at night."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Not too long after, she gets up slowly, and retires to her bedroom. The couch is far too uncomfortable and cold for her to rest peacefully in.

Fury Three emerges from the back room with several unopened bottles in hand. "One, is that you?" He places the bottles in an open space in the wine rack behind the bar. "I haven't seen you in ages. How's it going?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
One looks up to see his old friend. "Fury! Yes yes, it is I. I'm doing fine, just fine. And yourself? Oh, that reminds me, you never told me you had a brother. Quite the mysterious one, isn't he?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hayate is somewhat mystified by the people in the cafe. They're quite happily letting a wounded woman walk home, alone. Even worse, if she were to die, it'd apparently be the end of the world.
I need some air. If anyone asks for me, tell them to call back later He sticks his half-finshed bottle in his pack, pulls his cloak shut and takes his leave |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The friendly expression on Fury's face disappears and his eyes widen slightly. "Fury One? Where did you see him?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Damnit! One thought to himself, why couldn't he keep his mouth shut? "I met him a few days ago, in Estecia." He was not going to mention the castle.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Am suddenly appears on one of the Cafe's many couches. He quite obviously in a foul mood, and not his usual annoyance with a comment made by a mortal or something similliar (coughAyncough =P) but geniune anger. Why he decieded to come to TLC no one can be sure, but it's possible he just enjoys bothering mortals in a bit of a more physical way to calm himself.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
He raises an eyebrow. Fury One didn't show up unless something important was going on, and never anytime else. If he was around, trouble was too. "Estecia? What did he want?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Oh Estecia, don't I just love Estecia. So many good things come out of Estecia." Am grumbles and Alinos raises an eyebrow.
"What pissed you off?" Am keeps grumbling and uses magic to steal a soda from behind the counter. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"What did he want?" One glances around the room and telepathically talks to Fury. "He was looking for Gale, he found him, too."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
It had been a while since Fury had communicated telepathically, but he found he still could. "Gale? Listen to me, One, he doesn't show up unless something horrible is about to happen. What did he want??"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hayate's climbed up to the roof of the cafe, and looks around the semi-stunning landscape, and the cloudy sky. A couple of dull rumbles roll across from the distance, and the wind picks up a little
Why am I still here? He draws his shattered sword and just stares at the softly glowing blade for a while What the hell should I do? Not that you've ever done me any favours. He sighs and lays down on the roof. Whatever happens here, is irrelevant, in the grand scheme of things. Theoretically |

"So Gale is finally going to fulfill his word after all these years. You're right to leave this place... Between Gale, Rand, and the others, this entire region will probably be destroyed."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
One ends the telepathic link. He stares down at the counter, it is so clean that he can see his own reflection inside of it. He gazes at it for a few seconds. He then looks up at Fury and holds his hand out. "Well, I must be going now. I will stock up on food and be on my way. It was good seeing you again Fury, I plan to visit soon, so as to not leave all the work on you." With that, One turns around and heads into the backroom. A few minutes later he walks out with a bag, he then gives a final wave to Fury and walks out the door.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Hah, he's leaving cause he knows you're all screwed." Am lets out a laugh and gulps down his drink.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Shut up! This isn't his time. No one needs to stay here and die for this lost fight."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Heh you're all dead anyway, running or staying is irrelivent. That stupid girl, would of been fine if she hadn't shown up." Am tosses his drink in the trash.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Her eyes suddenly shoot open, having sensed someone lurking nearby. She desperately wanted to forget about it and go back to sleep, but she can't risk running into anybody right now. She gets up and walks to the front door, opening it and peering around for a moment.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The Axis member peers over the edge of the roof and raises an eyebrow. "Curious..." He moves away, still not wanting to be spotted.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The presence still has not gone away yet, so she speaks. "Whoever it is that is out here, show yourselves before I am forced to kill you!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The spy let's out a sigh and drops down infront of Ayn. His hand shifts and he reaches to a holster that hangs from his side.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Her eyes flicker with annoyance. "And just what the hell are you doing on top of my house?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The man doesn't answer and he rips the gun out of his belt and levels it with Ayn's head.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn rolls her eyes, then grabs the barrel of the gun. Her hand glows red, and after a while the barrel turns red as it melts to a deformed wad of twisted metal.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The mercenary seems amused by this and he drops the gun. "And I was thinking you were normal." The man quickly drops down and does a spin kick, attempting to trip Ayn.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She jumps and unsheathes her sword, bringing it down on the mercenary's shoulder as she lands.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The blade cuts into his shoulder but the mercenary doesn't seemed phased. He stares at the wound for a moment and let's out a laugh. "Then again neither am I." The merc delivers a sharp kick to Ayn's stomach.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She screams in pain, as the mercenary had kicked her right in the area where she had suffered gunshot wounds, and she falls to the ground clutching her stomach.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The man looks down on her. "Luckly for you, I don't need to kill you. Just tell me who you are."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn lies there in pain, not saying a word. Obviously she's not going to talk to some lowly mercenary.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The mercenary frowns. "Fine be that way, I'm sure I can find something intresting in here." He calmly walks into the cabin.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She forces herself to a standing position, and makes her way into her cabin, glaring at the mercenary. "What do you want from me? I have nothing here that is important to you or whoever it is you work for."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I'm just doing a job." The man glances over the cabin and shuffles through some papers he sees on a desk, scanning them for names or anything of intrested. "Well...Miss Ayn, I've gotten what I needed. Though before I go," The merc trips Ayn and sends her to the cabin floor. "I had to repay your for ruining my gun." He exits and disappears shortly after.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn forces herself up, clearly pissed off at her own physical state, then sighs. At this point, she just didn't care anymore, she just wanted to crawl back in bed and forget this happened. She slams the door shut, then locks it, and makes her way into her bedroom. She crawls into bed and curls up, trying to block the throbbing in her stomach out of her mind.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*Kadino pops in on a something-of-a whim and talks to the sleeping form*
Ahh, Ayn... Ayn, Ayn, Ayn... what have we got ourselves into this time? No, no, sleep now. You'll need to keep yourself together these next few weeks... Physical and mental challenges will be abound, and if you truly fall now all my planning will be ruined. If you turn away from the possibility of a righteous path there will be nothing I can do for you, and none of this will matter... And though I cannot truly help you on your way, I can help you heal. Sleep, and be calm for a while. When you wake drink a little from this vial, and save the rest for a time when you are in true need of strength. Leave then, quickly; for if you are not being followed yet, my simple prescence here will bring more than just questioning eyes to visit you. *Dances off into the night coyly, twirling and laughing as only a true moogle does* |

*pops up*
You know what, I've been doing diddley squat posting around these forums latley so I feel compelled to change that, hence the popping up here. *Falls into typical remeniscing of active posting days gone by* |
